As Lark gently pushed aside the curtain on the canopy bed, the reality of the situation finally pushed aside his innocent naivety, and his smile broadened. Even before blood began rushing to all the appropriate places, he managed to say “This is a dance I do not need lessons in Jastra. Follow my lead and I will escort your mind and body to the distant clouds.”
Stepping back and joyfully removing his attire, resting Dermot carefully on the lavish chair making sure the bears head was turned away, he looks back into the eyes of his fancier and playfully approaches.
One of Larks simple goals in life is to bring joy and happiness to others, something Jastra was about to find out completely. The following hour sent her mind and body to those exact distant clouds she was promised, if not beyond. The several hours after the first were spent dancing in an out of them, with euphoric feelings holding hands with calming pauses. Occasional breaks were taken to recover every now and then, with sounds of laughter filling the room, only to again be replaced with sounds of cooing, excursion, and wonder.
Neither Lark nor Jastra was aware of time passing. That dusk had come and gone. That the curfew had been going strong for six hours. When they finally settled, exhausted and beaming, they both gently fell asleep beside each other and dreamed of happiness and hope.
Jastra had been a blank canvas for Lark to experiment with, to paint another masterpiece on. Whether this was a new beginning for her or simply an experience of lust, she was certain that something inside her had awakened.
